My 7th Question : In our country, is there more need for land to be left in its natural condition or to be developed for housing and industry?

To be honest, I usually oppose to the policies of the Grand National Party, especially in "the Great Canal of Korean peninsular ". Sometimes, I feel it's crazy when I hear of the pulbic servant in a high status in TV. The honesty and the trust disappear in our society and people are interested only in growing their wealth. If they make a big profit, they might do whatever. Even if many specialists and professors warn of the disaster of the canal, others drive it secretly in the name of our economy.

My Question is another one. : In our country, is there more need for land to be left in its natural condition or to be developed for housing and industry?

Some people think that Korea should use available land for housing and industry because of a growing population. But I think to preserve nature is more valuable than to develop it in terms of our future. It could be utilized like kind of tourist attractions in an environment-friendly way someday.

Hi, Joey, my teacher who regards me as "your pet"*^^*(in skit).

The government is expanding the urbanization under the name of development and economic revival. But it's a kind of excuse. They could be involved in behind-the-scene corruption with someone's interests. Actually many big cities are already fed up with too much construction, I think. If there is an essential and urgent need of apartments for housing,of course we should provide it for them. But there are many speculators who watch for the illegal profits and invest their money with those bad intentions. They have two or three houses, actually. The government should take some measures first against these mean people who are spoiling our economy.
And we should think the environment first, I think. Once we destroy our surroundings, it will cost a lot to recover it and actually there might be no way to return it to the original state. I guess human beings will face our termination becasue of our carelessness in treating the nature. In the misunderstanding that the nature exists to serve human beings and we are its master. In fact, right now, those bad omens are appearing in the world. So, we need to be more conservative in developing natural assets which are handed down for us.

Hi, Joey the good citizen.
I remember you were willing to go to Seoul to vote against the GNP.

"Existence determines the concious," said Karl Marx.

Which is better in Amazon area;whether they should preserve the tropical rain forest or develop it to improve their standard of life?

Nobody should be alianated without proper reward.

See you.

Hi!
I move to one of the developed cities in Korea four years ago.
I struggle to survive in the city with dirty air on. There are so many people in the city. But I feel lonely among so many people. I feel I begin to get devastated. I miss my life in the country that I could enjoy nature around me all the time.

Hi Joey,
I have to agree with your regarding the greed of public servants.
As for the environmental question, I have to say that I think humans should try to reduce our populationg growth and consider that we are not the only species on the planet. We have a responsibility to be gardians and we are failing.
